Presentation

The Rugby Union World Cup is an international men's rugby competition that has been held every four years since 1987.
It is open to all federations recognised by World Rugby.

The host country of the World Cup is designated by World Rugby.
In 2023, the competition will be held in France, and the city of Nantes is one of the host cities for the event.

How do I get to the matches ? - Additional trains

Leave your car in the garage and take the TER !

The station serving the stadium is Haluchère-Batignolles-Beaujoire*

*Nantes metropolitan area station on the T1 line of the Aléop TER network serving the Beaujoire stadium.
From Nantes station, head for Chateaubriant or Nort sur Erdre and get off at Haluchère-Batignolles-Beaujoire.
TER Pays de la Loire is running extra trains on the T1 line to make it easier for you to get to Beaujoire stadium for the matches and again afterwards.
The journey between Nantes and La Chapelle-Aulnay is free at weekends.

The Pays de la Loire Region and SNCF TER are offering you a €5 2nd class ticket for travel to and from Haluchère-Batignolles-Beaujoire station to any station in the Pays de la Loire Region.

Tickets go on sale one month before the event on digital channels for travel on 16 and 30 September, and 7 October and 8 October 2023.

Non-exchangeable ticket. Refundable up to the day before departure.

Valid for 1 day for 1 journey made on all trains (excluding TGV, OUIGO, OUIGO Train Classique) and TER and regional Pays de la Loire coaches.
