Travel steps and rules

I make my bike reservation

I reserve as early as possible = 1 bicycle ticket per equipment (bicycle or folded trailer) and per TER taken.

I arrive early at the platform

On the day of travel: I label my bicycle and trailer with a luggage tag (available at the station) and I arrive 20 minutes before the train departure.

I board the train

I remove the panniers from the bicycle and fold my trailer. I identify the bicycle pictogram on the train and I place my bike in the designated area

I respect safety on board

For safety reasons, bicycles must not obstruct doors, emergency exits, and spaces reserved for persons with reduced mobility.

Reasons behind the bike service from May to September

  • To meet the growing demand from cyclists, we're improving capacity on selected TER trains.

  • To allow cyclists to travel under good conditions.

  • To offer only trains capable of accommodating bicycles.

  • To enable all travelers to travel on TER trains in a serene and comfortable manner.

Q&A
