MuséoParc Alésia
An emblematic site in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, MuséoParc Alésia invites you to (re)discover the history of Alésia over the centuries, including its famous battle between the Gauls under Vercingetorix and the Romans under Julius Caesar in 52 bf. J.-C.
It is structured around three sites :
- The museum: presenting the history of Alesia, from prehistory to the present day ;
- The remains of the Gallo-Roman town of Alesia ;
- The statue of Vercingetorix erected by Napoleon III.
