TRAVELLING BY BIKE

Whether you're a daily cyclist or an occasional one, you can combine trains and bikes with complete peace of mind.

Bikes welcome on board free of charge

All Mobigo TRAINS welcome your bike on board free of charge, subject to availability, whether it's suspended or in a special space.

However, on the Paris-Dijon-Lyon and Paris-Auxerre-Morvan routes (Paris-Avallon, Paris-Clamecy/Corbigny), book a seat for your standard or electrically-assisted bicycle (unfolded, not dismantled) is compulsory and free of charge every day on board all Mobigo TRAINS.

On these routes, all passengers are concerned: season ticket holders and occasional travelers. Bikes are allowed in the hold of Mobigo Coaches, subject to space availability.

Our tips to travel with your bike

  • Fold your bike or scooter so you can take it on board the train without a booking.

  • Transport a dismantled bike in a bag (maximum size 130 x 90cm) also exempts you from booking.

  • Choose low-traffic periods to travel with your bike: after 9 a.m. and before 5 p.m.

  • For the Mobigo TRAINS concerned, remember to bring your free bicycle booking in addition to your train ticket.

  • Look for the bicycle pictogram on the train and board there.

  • Label your bike, remove your luggages and panniers.

  • Arrive about 10 minutes before your Mobigo TRAINS departure time to load your bike.

  • Prepare your descent so as not to interfere with that of other travellers.
