Tips for traveling with total peace of mind
Choose the right schedule
Travel without unpleasant surprises! Favour less busy schedules. Show up early on the train platform.
Use the dedicated spaces
Use only the bicycle spaces provided on board (up to 11 per train). Their access is marked by a bicycle pictogram on the train and on board.
Travel light
Folding bicycles are the best choice. Remove bulky accessories and luggage. Tandems, tricycle trailers, scooters, carts... are not allowed on board. Only standard size bikes are accepted.
ViaRhôna
ViaRhôna, the green bicycle route along the Rhône River, takes you from the shores of Lake Geneva to the beaches of the Mediterranean. A 557 km cycling itinerary in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is now accessible, offering you beautiful rides to discover the region at your whim. About twenty train stations are located along the route to facilitate your trip. Go by bike, come back with TER.
