The Piscine

La Piscine is a former municipal swimming pool in Roubaix, built by Albert Baert between 1927 and 1932 in an art deco style. It was converted into a museum in 2001, then enlarged in 2018 by Jean-Paul Philippon.

Organised around three seasons of exhibitions a year, its rich programme offers a wealth of new discoveries and surprises, and includes works by some of the most prestigious names in the art world, such as Picasso, Chagall, Claudel, Degas and Signac, as well as lesser-known artists and designers in the fields of decorative arts and fashion.
