Abbey
Don't miss the Eiffel Tower in Soissons! The two towers of Saint-Jean-des-Vignes Abbey, with their 75-metre spires that cut a spectacular swathe through the horizon, have an unmistakable cathedral-like appearance. To better understand the importance of one of the richest abbeys of the Middle Ages, founded in the 11th century, the Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre) opens its doors to you. Located at the foot of the facade, the centre aims to raise awareness of the town's architecture and heritage, and to provide information and training for the general public.
