Serene bike access

All classic bikes are affected by the reservation.

On board the train, your bike must:

• Have a luggage tag visible on your bike with the name, first name, reservation number and boarding and alighting stations.
• Be stored in the spaces provided for this purpose.
• Not obstruct, even partially, the movement of people on board.

Folding bicycles, provided that they are folded and can fit in the spaces reserved for luggage, and scooters (electric or not) are accepted free of charge as luggage without reservation and at the rate of one item per traveler.

Good to know: bicycles adapted for People with Reduced Mobility must be taken in a PRM car within the limits of available places, with no obligation to reserve, and subject to meeting the requirements applicable to Wheelchairs (70cm wide, 120cm deep and 137cm in height - occupant included, and weight of the wheelchair, its occupant and their luggage must not exceed 300kgs in total).

Bicycles/carriages/trailers, if folded and/or dismantled and stored in a transport bag, will continue to be transported on board free of charge and without additional reservation according to the rules applicable to baggage.

Bicycle parking must be done in the spaces provided for this purpose (the locations are marked with a bicycle symbol). It must not cause any inconvenience either in terms of security or in the movement of passengers.

• The bicycle must be visibly labeled with the name, first name, reservation number and boarding and alighting stations.
• The supervision and handling of bicycles are the responsibility of their owner.
  

The train ticket and the bicycle reservation must be presented to the controller.

In the absence of a bicycle reservation, access to the train will be refused. If the control is done on board and the reservation of the bike has not been made, you will have to pay a minimum amount of 10€.

The number of bicycle spaces being limited, we advise you to book as soon as possible and preferably 48 hours before your travel date.

Yes, if a connection between 2 liO Trains is subject to reservation, a reservation per bike and per train is necessary.

On the Nîmes ↔ Clermont-Ferrand line, bicycle reservation rules on certain trains are changing. Reservations are now mandatory and cost €1 from May 1st to Sunday, September 27th, 2026 inclusive:

• Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as well as May 15th.
• Every day from July 1st to August 31st.

When you make your bicycle reservation, a message will explain the procedure depending on the train selected.
