The event
The year 2024 will be an emotional one, with the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Exceptional festivities are on the programme, including international ceremonies attended by world leaders, grandiose pyrotechnic shows, concerts, parachute drops and dance evenings.
From 1 March to 15 October there will be festivities including the Dday Festival Normandy from 1 to 16 June.
Most of these events will be free, but some may be subject to a charge, particularly for concerts or evenings with special meals.

Discover the D-day shuttle!
From 13 May to 30 September, Nomad Car is running a D-day shuttle service. It serves :
- La pointe du Hoc
- Colleville-sur-Mer American Cemetery
- Arromanches-les-bains and its artificial harbour
- Longues-sur-Mer battery
- Juno Beach Centre
It runs 7 days a week (except 6 June) between 9.30am and 6pm.
