Train Loire à Vélo route

The LOIRE À VÉLO TRAIN makes it easy to get around on the Loire à Vélo route: up to 3 return trips a day from Monday to Friday between Nantes and Orléans. At weekends, up to 2 return trips between Orléans and Le Croisic.

Interloire trains run beyond Nantes (to Saint-Nazaire and Le Croisic) at weekends only. During the week, they originate and terminate in Nantes.

Available all year round

All year round, the Loire à vélo trains can accommodate between 9 and 50 bicycles in the 3 self-service areas at various points along the train.
You can access these areas if you are travelling with a standard bicycle, subject to availability.

Bikes allowed on board

Regular and electric bikes are allowed on board

Tandem and folded trailers are allowed only in the designated area (maximum bike size : 240cm)

Cargo bikes are not allowed on board
